The Junior project this term is Ancient Greece. This week we have been looking at the history of the Olympic Games, discovering the similarities or differences to the Olympic. We have learnt about historic sources and how we can tell a lot from the past by artefacts....

  Gifts brought in by the children for the local food bank. An assembly where we can share and say thank you for food, shelter and community.  

Studying History comes alive when you can actually visit the site of a major part of what you are studying. You can't study the Normans and not visit Battle near Hastings. So that is what our year 7s and 8s did. And what a wonderful day it was; a refreshing trip after...
