The Year 8’s have been study Conan Doyle’s writing of Sherlock Holmes. We have read and studied numerous stories with the main focus being on ‘The Red-Headed League’. On Tuesday 10th December 2013 we embarked on a train to London to visit the Sherlock Holmes Museum in Regent’s Park. The setting for the museum is an old Victorian House over 4 floors including the attic. Each room had a different theme with the top floor focusing on specific stories including ‘The Red-Headed League’. After looking around the museum we went down into the gift shop and then had lunch in Regents Park. It was a great day enjoyed by all.
