GCSE Geography students braved the mud and rain to undertake an investigation into changes along the long profile of the River Chelmer. We took readings of width and depth as well as noting bedload changes along the course of the river. The aim of the trip was to give context to theoretical studies and enable the students to practice the skills needed to evaluate the fieldwork investigation process. Thanks go to Sam and Charlotte for getting stuck in on a muddy day!
