Juniors enjoyed an educational visit along with 3000 other school children learning about different aspects of the environment. We had Mrs Marriage to guide us around the exhibits!
We learnt about modern and old types of harvesting and what farmers do with cow poo! We leant about the many everyday products that are produced from the land. We saw pigs, cows, sheep, alpacers and a beautiful owl.
We saw sausages being made and Tiptree Jams talked about their jam making process and gave us all a miniature jar of jam. We saw sheep being sheared and learnt about selective breeding and the many products that come from them.
We basked in a sunny day with a picnic lunch sitting on a bale of hay!
