The Upper Juniors have been out and about studying the history of The Flitch Way. They have discovered cuttings and embankments and used detective work to find further evidence for the existence of the old railway. They have investigated ways in which tourists are now being attracted to the area and sampled the delicacies of The Booking Hall Cafe at Rayne. Here they can be seen in the Dunmow Cutting.
Altogether, a most satisfactory morning’s work.
