On 22nd January 2020 pupils visited Kidzania in London.
Pupils were given a sum of money as they entered Kidzania. They had the opportunity to earn more ‘kidzos’ by working or spend it, either in training ie to become a pilot or vet, or on activities ie the Nintendo office.
Training was given to students for specific jobs and they then ‘worked’ at it.
Our students’ choices included: pilot, shop assistant, supermarket worker, courier, doctor, policeman, journalist, hotelier. Students worked in groups with pupils from other schools and were required to work together on tasks. Students were required to think independently and use their initiative to make their choices and seek out opportunities.
