We marked the end of our Children’s Mental Wellbeing Week with students opening boxes of gifted books from two school supporters. Their generosity boosted our libraries with more than 40 of the latest releases and award winning books.

Encouraging students to enjoy reading for pleasure is an attribute that will stay with them long after their time at our school.

“Studies have shown that reading as little as 6 minutes per day can improve your quality of sleep, reduce stress, and sharpen mental acuity. Reading strengthens the neural circuits and pathways of our brain while lowering heart rate and blood pressure”
