The Juniors have an exciting term studying the Anglo-Saxons. Putting themselves in the shoes of Anglo-Saxon settlers, the Upper Juniors have chosen the best site for their village and have built houses, choosing their materials and construction techniques and making their own window design. They have improved their houses by caulking the walls, fortunately choosing straw to fill the gaps rather than animal dung! As you can see they are delighted with the results.
All the juniors have made the beautiful brooches you see below. These have been on display on the Lower Junior classroom.
